1. TRADE MATCH MAKING AND VISITOR PROMOTION?
The Organizers have organized a series of promotion campaigns on the details of exhibitors and exhibits so as to collect buyers' interest intention before the show. The Organizers leveraged these feedbacks from buyers and visitors to arrange match making meetings between buyers and exhibitors. Meanwhile, the Organizers have started the pre-registration campaign to potential buyers from these key industries like auto, aviation, shipbuilding, mould manufacturing, transport vehicle, telecommunications, IT products, machinery, nation defense, aerospace, electric power, metallurgy, energy, chemistry, textile, the environmental protection etc. The Organizers have appointed the official freight to offer services on bonded exhibits.
2. CMWS'2008---The 4th China International Metalworking Summit
The organizers co-operated with Vogel Industry Media and MM Morden Manufacturing to hold The 4th China International Metalworking Summit(CMWS'2008).Meanwhile, ‘Top Ten Persons of Year 2007-2008 in Domestic and Foreign Enterprises of Chinese Machine Tool Industry' and ‘2008 AI Outstanding Product Awards' and ‘2008 Top 100 Excellent Equipment Supplier Awards' etc. had been presented by the session.
3. MIES 2008---The 3rd Manufacturing Informationization Engineering Show
Digital Design Experience Area
The Organizers set up MIES 2008---The 3rd Manufacturing Informationization Engineering Show in Hall 1A, CIEC, and meanwhile held "Digital Design Experience Area" during the period of the exhibition.
4. '07-'08 GOLDEN AWARDS AND E-BUSINESS FORUM FOR CHINA MACHINERY & EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY
Co-organized by E-business Center of the Ministry of Commerce, P. R. China and "Machinery & Electronics Business", the Organizers undertook the selection of candidates for '07-'08 GOLDEN AWARDS FOR CHINA MACHINERY & EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY from Mar. to Oct. 2008, and held the E-business Forum for China Machinery & Equipment Industry concurrently with CIMES 2008.
5. TECHNICAL SEMINARS
Technical seminars on various topics had be held during the exhibition at the General Service Building of China International Exhibition Center.
6. SPECIAL FORUM FOR DEVELOPMENT OF 5-AXIS TECHNOLOGY
The Organizers have entrusted <Manufacturing Technology & Machine Tools> Magazine Agency to hold the SPECIAL FORUM FOR DEVELOPMENT OF 5-AXIS TECHNOLOGY. Introduce the new development of 5-axis machines and machining technology, including the design of the machine and their components, and the application of the technology.
7. "Land of Love, Water Cellar for Mothers" Donation
CIMES 2008 cooperated with All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) to jointly have the donation activity of "Water Wells" for the western part of China. Near One hundred CIMES 2008 exhibitors have benefited with the rights to have their names on each of the water wells which will be donated by CIMES 2008. During the show time, organizers presented souvenirs to these exhibitors.
8. EXHIBITOR'S DAY
All exhibitors are welcome to hold the special Exhibitor's Day or other public campaign during the event.
