-- Reed Exhibitions & China National Machine Tools Corp launches the first of many major initiatives to revamp the CIMES 2010 event profile and brand image in its 2nd edition in partnership --
China Int’l Machine Tool & Tools Exhibition 2010 (CIMES 2010) organised by China National Machine Tools Corp & Reed Exhibitions will take place at the New China International Exhibition Center, Beijing, during June 14-18, 2010. While celebrating its 10th presentation since inception in 1992, the two giants of their respective industries plan for a major revamp of the famous machine tool event in 2010. The campaigns are predicted to position “Asia’s Largest Machine tool show” at the forefront of the machine tool events developments and propel it on to the centre of the world stage.
As the first major Economy to come out of the global recession almost unscathed, stimulated by the nation’s economic incentive package and guided by the proactive fiscal policy of the State, China’s GDP continue to grow at a predicted 9% year-on-year featuring stable economic development and increasingly reasonable import & export structure for products. It is predicated by many experts that out of the Financial Crisis, China will join the USA to play the lead role in global economic affairs and become one of the most important industrial markets to operate in and partner to cooperate with.
CIMES has been held biennially in Beijing for nine times in a span of over twenty years under the support of the relevant governmental authorities and through concerted efforts of machine tool manufacturers. The event has really become a symbol and testament for the development and evolution of China’s mighty machine tool industry in recent years. It is without surprise that the organizers of this industry leading event chose this perfect moment to endeavor to revamp its profile and brand to propel the event on to the world stage. At the official press conference held in the Westin Chaoyang Beijing on the morning of the 26th November 2009, the organizers have officially kicked off their campaigns by revealing the new logos for the 5 new feature segments for the show.
The 5 feature segments represent an initiative to review and specify the show profile into new focus areas. Named CutTech, SheetTech, AutomaTech, WeldTech and Tool Tech, the 5 feature segments will drive the show in terms of delivering more targeted buyers, easier and clearer show navigation, focused and tailored content and presentation and pre-scheduled face to face meetings while matching the requirements between buyer and exhibitors at the show.
During the press conference, the President of China National Machine Tool Corporation, Mr. Hao Ming have announced that CIMES 2010 will fill all 8 halls of the NCIEC venue and will be a record braking edition with over 1400 exhibitors from 30 nations and a record number of visitors from across China and around the world.
