Since 1992, The China Int’l Machine Tool & Tools Exhibition-China Int’l Machinery & Equipment Show (CIMES) has been successfully held in Beijing biennially. It has become the most important market platform for Chinese machine tool players, and enjoys extensive attention from professionals all over the world.

CIMES 2008, the 9th China Int’l Machine Tool & Tools Exhibition, will be held from 9 to 13 Oct 2008 in China International Exhibition Center (CIEC & New CIEC), Beijing. It is expected to host more than 2,000 exhibitors and 200,000 trade visitors, and covers a total exhibition space of 150,000sqm, with all core and fringe activities anchored on enabling global suppliers to reach out to their China customers. 

For CIMES 2008 Metronor will be displaying our new generation portable CMMs, SOLO and DUO, which provide the means to easily measure large objects through the use of a carbon fiber hand-held probe. The hand-held probe enables the user to probe deeply into hidden areas, even with limited line-of-sight.
